તારો તારીખ ૧૬-૧૨-૫૧
નો પત્ર મળ્યો. તે
વાંચીને ખુબ જ આનંદ
થયો. તારો પત્ર લાંબા
સમય પછી મળ્યો તેથી
બહુ ખુશી થઈ. આથી
જ તારા તરફના પત્રોની
ગોઠવણ હું પણ બરાબર
જ રાખું છું (સ્વ. ગંગાધર
ઉપરાંત ગગનવિહારી.)
મનુભાઈના
દવામાં જે ઉલ્લેખ કર્યો
છે તે પણ બરાબર
જ છે. પરંતુ મન
મજબૂત હોઈ કે પ્રગતિ
તે રાખી શકતો નથી
તે ભલે પોતે પોતાની
રીતે ચાલશે. અને ભગવાનના આશીર્વાદ
જરૂર છે જ.
જે
ગયું તે પાછું આવતું
નથી જેથી મેં તેના
વિચારો છોડી દીધા છે.
જો આપણે તેની આશા
રાખીશું તો આપણને દુઃખ
જ થશે. તેથી તે
દોડાવે તેટલી માલપરવશતા ઈચ્છા એટલે કે અત્યાર
સુધી ખુબ જ જોઈ
છે. ઈશ્વર મેહરબાન સુધી સારો માર્ગ
આપશે પણ એ બધી
જ તકો આપણી પાસે
તેમ ક્યાંથી હોઈ શકે.

પ્રવાસ
હાલ જવાનું થતું નથી પણ
જો તે થવાનું હોઈ
તો તારો પત્ર મળશે
– જોકે તે બાબત રજા
મળશે. તારો મામા તરફનો
જે પ્રેમ છે તે ટૂંકમાં
તે ભક્તિભાવ પણ શા માટે
શું છે તેઓ સમાચાર
હાલમાં આપતા પહેલા થોડું
ઘણું નક્કી કરવા ઈચ્છતા હોય.

પણ ખાસ મુલાકાત થવાથી
રવિવારે ઘરે આવેલ થોડી
વાતચીત થઈ હતી. તે
પણ તૈયારીમાં છે.

ફોટો મોકલ્યો છે. પત્ર મળ્યેથી
હોત તો મળ્યો.

Dear Brother Hemendra,
Received your letter dated 16-12-51. Was extremely pleased to read it. Receiving your letter after a long time brought much joy. For this reason, I am keeping up with replying to your letters properly (besides the late Gangadhar and Gaganvihari).
The mention made in Manubhai's medicine/matter is also quite correct. However, whether the mind is strong or not, he is unable to maintain progress; let him proceed in his own way. And God's blessings are certainly there.
What is gone does not come back, so I have let go of those thoughts. If we hold on to hopes for that, we will only face sorrow. Therefore, as much helplessness/surrender to His will as He takes us through—that is, I have seen enough until now. As long as God is merciful, He will show a good path, but how can all those opportunities be with us?

I am not going on a trip currently, but if it is to happen, you will receive a letter—though leave will be granted regarding that matter. The affection you have towards Mama—in short, that devotion—why and what is it? They might be wishing to finalize a few things before sending news currently.
Anukulbhai. We would have liked to come, but specifically to meet, he came home on Sunday and we talked for a bit. He is also in preparation.
Enclosed with this, I have sent a photograph of all of us. Let me know if you received it once you get the letter.
I always hope your letter comes; hope you are doing well. You have written good things regarding my appreciation/regard.
Keep writing letters as always. You are in the midst of exam preparations.
