પ્રિય ભાઈ,

બહેન ઉમાનાં દુઃખદ અવસાન નાં સમાચાર આપતો તારો ૨૨/૬ નો લખેલો પત્ર, ટપાલખાતાની હોશિયારી ને લીધે ઠેઠ આજે પાંચ દિવસ પછી મળ્યો. વાંચી ઘણુંજ દુઃખ. નિર્દોષ બાળકો ને ભગવાન જ્યારે બોલાવી લે છે ત્યારે, ખરેખર, તેની ક્રૂરતા નો ખ્યાલ આવી જાય છે! આપણા બધા પર અને ખાસ તો ફૈબા પર, અચાનક આવી પડેલી આફત ને સહન કરવાની પ્રભુ શક્તિ આપે.

Dear Brother,

Your letter written on 22/6 giving the sad news of Sister Uma's tragic passing away was received today, five days late, thanks to the cleverness of the postal department. Reading it brought immense grief. When God calls away innocent children, one truly realizes His cruelty! May the Lord grant strength to all of us, and especially to Faiba [Aunt], to bear this sudden calamity that has fallen upon us.
