સુજ્ઞ ભાઈશ્રી હેમેન્દ્રભાઈ. તમો મજામાં હશો- અમે બધાં ખેરિ કુશળ મજામાં છીએ. તો ફીકર કરશો નહિ - મેં વડીયાજી, મુ. ગુલબચંદજીનો કાગળ તમો જેમાં તમારી ઈચ્છા છે કોઈ સારા Concern નિ job મળે તેમ છે મેં બધી તપાસ કરી છે અને છૂટ નમોને મારા હોસ્તારો ત્યાં મોટી પોઝીશનમાં હોઈ મદદરૂપ થશે. અને છૂટ ત્યાં સારી પોસ્ટ મળશ તો તો ફીકર કરશો નહિ -

ગઈ કાલે unind Indie Group of Mills ના મેનેજીંગ Mr. W.H. Date - પરંતુ આપણે ત્યાં આવ્યા હતા- અમે બંને ઈરાન દોસ્તાર છીએ ત્યાં અ દાને પટણા કેલિમે મમળા હતા. મેમને મેં તમારા કાજે વાતચીત કરી છે મેં મેં તેમને કીધું છે કે - તમારે તેમને ઈન્ટરવ્યુની તેમજ બેસવા મમળે - તેમનું સરનામું - Mr. W.H. Date Indian united Mills No I Telephon No 61912 પરેસ ઉપર. ત્યાં તેઓ રહે છે. નમો તેમને ટેલીફોન કરી appointment કરશો- સવારના કામકાજના પટના- સાંજના ૭ વાગ્યા પછી - પણ રવિવારના સવારના ૯ વાગ્યા પટના મેમને ટેલીફોન કર્વાસ

 

તમો એ દાને ને છૂટ મમળો. તમોને ને બદ્ધું તો પૂછશે જો નમો તેમના Concern નિ ટેં રાને અંત માં ધરા રાશે ને ભપારો

તેમના મિષ્ટ Mr Kher છે જે મારા પાસ અત્રે છે જેઓ ત્યાં Administrator છે અને અ દાને તેમને વાત કરશો - Mr Kher જેવા ભણારો કે તમો ડો- સુધા રંજના કાંઈ છો જેસે બધું બને કરશે. કાંઈ છો જેથી બધું બને કરશે ટેલીફોનથી પાટે તમો છૂટ તેપ અ દાને જણાવશો તેમને મળશો જેને. થઈ બજા અ-દાને ત્યાં Manager છે ત્યાં બહુ સી શરૂ તેમ છે - તેઓને young Engineers ની ધાસ છૂટ રહ્યે અને રાખવા માંગે તો નમો વિના સરનામો આપશો- તેમના વાઈફ શાંતાબાઈ ઘણાં જ સારા પાગ્યે પાઠિ તમારા ડાપ્પા ત્યારે મળ્યાં હતાં. તેમની છોકરી મન્ત્ર એગ્ઝામ BA કરતા હોય પાસ હજુ પણ MIRM ત્યાં સુરક્ષાની પાસ પ્રિન્સપાલ છે તો તમો અ દાનેને છૂટ મળશો અને બનુ કરશો. મેં પટને વાત કરશે અને બન્તુ કરશે.

બીજી ખુશી Calico Millo નું Concern નું P.V.C plant ( Plastic Poly Theme ) નું કારખાનું ચેમ્બુરમાં બંધાય છે. તેમના General Manager Mr H. T. Bhavnani છે- તેઓ મારા પાસ અત્રે છે- તેમના વાઈફ ભાનુબેન, ભારતના God Mother જેવા હતા જ્યાં તેના મિષ્ટ ઘણાંજ પાર રાખતા હતા તેઓ Mechanical Engineers નથી હતા અને અમો સાથો સાથ રહેતા હતા- તમલાર્ગ cantha ૧ વરસ થયા તેઓની બદલ દિયાર પ્લાન્ટમાં જનરલ મેનેજર તરીકે થઈ મુંબઈ રહ્યે મારા ઘણાંજ સ્નેહિ છે. તેઓ પાસે સવારના દમદાપાર વાગ્યો મને મળ્યો હતો તેમની સાથે તમારી job ની પાનપન થતા તેઓ એ મને મારૂ કીધું કે "તારી મારી હરિ છે અને તેમના Husband વાસ્તે હું છૂટ બધુંય રીસ જો છૂટ તેમને સારો Chancer સંપાડશે.

 

મિ. ભવનાની તો રવિવારે U.K તેમના વાસ્તે ત્રણ અઠવાડિયા વાસ્તે પપ છે- તમો તેમને તેમના ઘરે રાતના સાત વાગ્યા પછી ટેલીફોન કરી છૂટ મળવાનું રાખશો આજે મંગળવાર છે તમો તેને શુકવાર-ગુરૂવાર રાત્રે ટેલીફોન કરી છૂટ સમશાશે તેમની Factory ચેમ્બુરમાં છે, તે બહુલ દુર પડશે તેથી મિ- ભવનાનીએ મને કીધું છે કે તેઓ મને બંગલે મળે- તેમના બંગલાનું સરનામું

તો તમો તેમને ટેલીફોન કરી ત્યાં છૂટ મળવાનું રાખશો- મિ- અને મસાડ ભવનાની ઘણાજ સારા મા માણસો છે અને મારા પાસ સગાઈ ત્યા તમોને બદ્ધ રીતે ઘણા જ ઉપયોગી થઈ પડશે- તો તમો તેને છૂટ મળશો અને થઈ જાતા જણાવશો - કોઈપણે મમો ફીકર કરશો નહિ -

બાપુ તમોલોય મને આખું સવિસ્તર પેપર મળ્યું વાત તમો શાંતિ ના રાખશો ના ગભરાશોવા અમો બધા દુરત દેખાય છીએ- આગપના જે પાગા મેં તેં પગાઉ લખ્યા હતા- તમો August End માં છુટા દસો- તો કાંઈ ફીકર કરશો નહિ તારાર્ડ તમો ને જનલ ઘણો જ સારો job મળશેજ અને અત્યારે તમારા જેવા qualification વાળા જોઈએ છે-- ઉભરા પાતે હોતાર્ગ વાળા જોઈએ છે. જો મેં થઈ બગા જણાવશો તો તપાસ કરશો. પણ મો ઘર

તમો તા. ૨૭.૨૮ ના દાવશાન અને ત્યારે બદ્ધા રૂબરૂ વાતચીત કરીશું- મારી તબિયત (ગીર) છે તો ફીકર કરશો નહિ - ડો. રતનભાઈ મહા સમ્મટી મપમાં છે. મિ. પાટલી તરફમાં મમળાવ શાંતિ ઘણા જ મપમાં છે તમો ને રવિવાર પાઠિનો flat. ધોડાજ હવાયરમાં મળ્યો હતો. બદલ અમે ખુશી થયા છીએ અને તમો ત્યાં રહેવા ખ્યાત તમોને મુસ્કેલી બદલ મોજ થશે. નજપન સાચવશો

 

આ બાજુ તદ્દુ વરસાદ પડ્યો નથી- તમારે મને લખવાનો હક્ક છે અને જમાટે નમો ભલે ઉદાસ અને દુરસ દાવ ને જોવાનો અમારો ધર્મ છે નમો જબકુર મુંઝાતા નહિ ત્યાં તમારૂ ભવિષ્ય છૂટ ઉજ્જવળ છે. સરકારે Engineers ની તો ખૂબજ માંગ છે અને તમોને છૂટ ઘણાજ સારો ચાન્સ મળવોજ-- તમોયે સમેગા Concern વાસ્તે તયે હવે પછી તપાસ કરીશ અને નમોને જણાવશાન દરમ્યાનમાં નમો મિ- દાને ત્યાં મિ- ભવનાનીને છૂટ મળશો હારાર્ડ આપણે job માં તાધિ ત્યારે અન્ય Concerns માં નોકરી વાસ્તે અભ્યાસ આપણો મોટો સારો બને તપાસ રહ્યે જેમે યોગસ્ટ પટચો નમો અન્ય Concern નિ job કરી લય છે - અને અત્યારથી સોદાસો ચાલુ રાખવાજ તમો તેને છૂટ મુજચાંક મન્ત લ્યો- ફીકર કરશો નહિ લિ તમારા સત્તુ ડો- સુધા રંજના આર્શીવાદ

Hope you are doing well—we are all safe, sound, and fine. So do not worry. I received the letter from Vadiyaji and Respected Gulabchandji in which your desire is mentioned; a job in some good Concern is available. I have made all inquiries, and freely... my friends over there, being in high positions, will be helpful. And freely a good post will be secured there, so do not worry—

Yesterday, the Managing Director of United India Group of Mills, Mr. W.H. Date... however, had come to our place—we both are close friends; over there, Date and Patna Calico had met. I spoke with him on your behalf and told him that you should get an interview as well as an opportunity to sit/discuss with him. His address—Mr. W.H. Date, Indian United Mills No. 1, Telephone No. 61912, Parel. That is where he resides. You should call him and fix an appointment—morning for work/Patna—evening after 7 PM—but on Sunday morning Patna before 9 AM, call him on the phone...

You should meet Date freely. He will ask you everything; if you... regarding their Concern's... in the end...

His close colleague is Mr. Kher, who was near me here and is an Administrator over there; you can speak to him as well. Once Mr. Kher learns that you are connected to Dr. Sudha Ranjan, he will do everything possible. Whatever it is, he will do everything possible. Therefore, inform us freely via telephone once you meet them. Over there, the Manager is very good and accommodating... they particularly need young Engineers and wish to keep them, so give your address without hesitation. His wife Shantabahen is very good; earlier when your Pappu visited, they had met. Their daughter Manta, appearing for the B.A. exam, passed... still MIRM over there, Principal near Suraksha. So you meet them freely and manage everything. I spoke with Patna and will do everything needed.

Another piece of good news: Calico Mills Concern's P.V.C plant (Plastic Polyethylene) factory is being constructed in Chembur. Their General Manager is Mr. H. T. Bhavnani—he was near me here—his wife Bhanubahen was like a God Mother in India, where her husband took great care. They were Mechanical Engineers and we used to stay together—for the past 1 year, he was transferred as General Manager to the plant in Mumbai and resides there; he is a very close friend of mine. I met him in the morning around ten or eleven o'clock; while discussing your job with him, he told me, "Your request is my command, and for her husband, I am ready to risk/do everything if it secures him a good chance."

Mr. Bhavnani is leaving for the U.K. on Sunday for three weeks. You should telephone him at his home after seven at night and freely arrange to meet him. Today is Tuesday; call him Thursday or Friday night and explain freely. Their factory is in Chembur, which will be very far, so Mr. Bhavnani suggested that you meet him at his bungalow. So telephone him and make sure to meet him there freely. Mr. and Mrs. Bhavnani are very fine people, and given my close relationship, they will prove extremely useful to you in every way—so meet him freely and inform me once it is done—do not worry about anything—

Bapu, I received your detailed paper/letter; keep your peace of mind and do not be alarmed, we all appear well and sound. The salary that I wrote about earlier—you will be relieved by the end of August—so do not worry; surely you will get a very good job in General, and right now people with qualifications like yours are needed—capable individuals are required. If I am informed, I will investigate. But my home...

Come around the 27th or 28th, and we will discuss everything in person then. My health is slightly off (Gir), so do not worry. Dr. Ratanbhai Maha is in great spirits/good condition. Towards Mr. Patli, things are peaceful and in good condition. We were pleased that you received the flat after Sunday in a somewhat airy location. Living there, you will find joy despite the difficulties. Take care of your health.

There has been no rain at all on this side. You have every right to write to me, and even if you are sad or distressed, it is our duty to look after you. Do not feel flustered at all; your future over there is very bright. The government has a huge demand for Engineers, and you are bound to get a very good chance. I will investigate further regarding the same Concern and inform you. In the meantime, meet Mr. Date and Mr. Bhavnani freely over there. When we... in job, our study/preparation for jobs in other Concerns remains strong, so that by the end of August you can take up a job in another Concern—and keep up the contacts starting right now; take it without any hesitation or fluster.
