Where is Virendra? What is he doing? Do write his address.
Dear Brother Hemendra,
Received your letter; read all the details. Now you must be finding yourself quite settled. Truly, there is no institution in life worth spending years in quite like a boarding school or hostel. The joy there is known only to students—playing, jumping around, indulging in harmless banter, completely unconcerned, far away from all the worries of the world, away from home, and free from any kind of anxiety. It is actually surprising why you didn't like it for a short while. Moreover, you already have the experience of boarding life.
Hope your health is good? Ransai, Gangatha, Daji, and others here are doing fine. There is no news of Bajria. Poor Sukhla passed away—I feel deeply remorseful that I...
...could not even reply to his last letter or reach out to him in his final days. Truly, the chapter of my behavior towards him is filled with sorrow. A person should never forget how, in what manner, and with what words to address someone while they are alive. In return for his goodness, I gave him insult. May God grant his soul peace—the poor fellow suffered badly from a kidney ailment.
Do write a letter without fail. Take good care of your health. The dining arrangements over there must be systematically good. Write whenever you find the time.
