Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

Friday

Dear Brother Hemendra,

Your brother Chiren, read the letter above; after that, there has been no letter from your end.

By now, perhaps your exams have also started; when do they finish? Brother Nanu's and Dinesh's exams are finished; Nanu is currently in Rajkot, having stayed here in between for about fifteen days.

Hope your health is good. You must be putting in a lot of hard work in reading/studying; take care of your health while keeping up with studies—if that is intact, everything is intact.

Another thing — Shayjibapa's Muktabahen's husband Vasantbhai passed away while going/going for a brain operation in London; writing this in case you haven't received that news.

From here on Tuesday night, I will depart on the Somnath Express to go to Mumbai. Will inform you before departing, so if you get time, come to the station to meet, and bring along Bhanubahen's... what decision has been made regarding that, do write and inform. Do write a letter.

— Ram-Ram from Chanda
