શિ. ભા. બટુક, પિ. ના ૨૩/૧૦ ના A/L આજે મળ્યો... વાંચી ઘણો જ સંતોષ અને શાંતિ થઈ. તા ૧૨/૧૦ ના... પત્રો પણ મળ્યા. અમારી તબીયત વિષેના સમાચાર... ...તમને ચિંતા થવાનું કારણ આપ્યું તે મારી ભૂલનો... ખ્યાલ, તમને પત્ર પોસ્ટમાં પછી આપ્યો. તમે... ઘણા દૂર છો અને સ્વપ્ન જેટલા વધારે દૂર રહો... એટલું પરસ્પરે વધારે દુઃખ અને ચિંતા રહે એ... સ્વાભાવિક. અમારી તબીયત માટે તમને ચિંતા થાય... તેથી તે માટે કારણ આપવાની આશામાં સમજણ... રાખીશ. બટુ યોગા. અમારી તબીયત વિષે તમારે... ચિંતા કરવાની ન હોય. અમારી તો પાટી ઉંમર થઈ... ગણાય. એ ઉંમરે માણસને કંઈ ને કંઈ માઠી હોશિયારીઓ... રહેવા દેતી હોય. અને તબિયત વગેરે શરીર... ઘસાઈ ગયા હોય એટલે તે વિષે તમારે તો ચિંતા... કરવાની ન હોય. અહીંયા અમે એવા થઈએ છીએ... જરા પણ પરંતુ સારું થઈ જાય છે. જાણીએ છીએ, ચાલી... શકીએ છીએ. કુટુંબ અને સ્થળના છે એટલે તમારે તો... મન ઉપર કોઈ પણ જાતનો બોજો રાખવાનો ન હોય. તમારા કાર્યમાં તમારે મસ્ત રહેવું. તમારી તબીયત... બરાબર રાખજો. તમારી તબીયતનાં નિયમિત... ખબર આપતા રહેજો. અમારી તબીયત ને તેનાથી... tone-up મળ્યા કરશે. અને સૌ કુશળ છે. જદુ... ની તબીયત સારી છે. તેના પણ ખુશી ખબરના... પત્રો આવ્યા રહે છે. ત્યાં સૌ મળ્યા છે. થોરા... ભાઈ તો ગઈ રાતના આવ્યા. આવ્યાના લગાર... સવારે પાછા રાજકોટ ગયા છે. ફુરકુરશના zonal... director સાથે રાજકોટ મીટીંગ આપવાની છે. જેની... સાથે થોરા ભાઈ ને પણ જવું પડશે. રણુભાઈ... એ હાડો એગ્રી ટ્રેક્ટર વસાવ્યું છે. તેને install કરી... ગયા છે. એમાં sales પણ સારું છે. અને inquiry... પણ સારી છે. એટલે ચરણભાઈ પણ ફિકર રાખતા... છે. ત્યાં બાપુ પણ એ ટ્રેક્ટર મોકલી install કરી... આવ્યો. બીજું તમારા ભાગનાં પૈસા સરકારમાંથી... મેળવતા એલ. સી. એ પખવાડિયું લીધું જે અઠવાડિયું... પહેલાં મેળવી શકત પરંતુ એમના તા. ૧/૧૧ ના...

D. પાનાને સુપ્રત થયા બાદ... લોન અંગેની ચીજ તૈયાર થશે. બહુ સ્પીડ અઠવાડિયું... લગાડશે - પૂ. ફૂવાના પૈસા, જયંતિના થોડા આવશે... તમે ચિંતા ન કરો. પરંતુ આપણી પાસે રકમ પડશે તેથી... ભૂલ આલી દયો, તમારા માટે અપના ભવન ૩૨... સારી છાપ પડે. તમારા પિયર શ્રી ગુપ્તાના પિતાજીને... આપવાનો ડ્રાફ્ટ આપીને પાઠવ્યા. રજીસ્ટર કરવા માટેની... પોસ્ટ જશે. પંજાબમાં એલચી ગાયકો પુરામાં નાશ થયો... રજીસ્ટર ઇન્સ્ટાઈલ સેન્ટર સિમેન્ટ લેવા મારા ભાઈને... શ્રી ગુપ્તાના પિતાજીને ઓફિસથી ત્યારે પ્રબંધ સમજીને... પૂછાયું છે. એમના તરફનું જોઈને સૂચના આપજો... તે મુંબઈ આવ્યા વિશે પખવાડિયામાં લોનનાં... નાણાં છૂટા થયેલા તમારા અથવા મુંબઈ Am. બટુકભાઈ, તમારા પત્ર આજે મળતાં વાંચી આનંદ. તમારા પહેલાનાં... પત્રો પણ મળી ગયેલા એ પત્રો કલકત્તા મોકલ્યા છે. બીજું મંજુબેન તથા શ્રી હસુભાઈ ગયા મંગળવારે અહીં આવેલા... હતા. મંજુબેન ગઈકાલે ગોંડલ પાછા ગયા છે. આજે કલકત્તાથી... પૂ. બેનનો કાગળ છે. એ લોકોએ ત્યાંથી તમને કાગળ લખ્યો... હશે. તમે ફોટા ગાંધી રવાના કરી દીધા તે બહુ... તમારો અભ્યાસ બરાબર ચાલતો હશે. દરેક પરીક્ષામાં... સફળ થાવ તેમ સૌ ઈચ્છીએ છીએ. અહીંથી દિવાળીનું... કાર્ડ અઠવાડિયા પછી રવાના કરવું. તમારા મિત્ર રમેશ-... મહેતા ત્યાં આવવાના છે તે જાણ્યું. અહીંથી કોઈપણ વસ્તુ... મંગાવવી હોય તો તુરત જ લખશો જેથી અહીંયા તૈયારી... રાખીએ. જનતા સુધી હસમુખરાય પણ એકાદ મહિનામાં... જો નક્કી થશે તો ત્યાં આવવા રવાના થશે. તમારા... માટે સ્વેટર વિષે ચંપાબેનને લખી નાખ્યું છે. જો એકાદ... મહિનામાં તૈયાર થઈ જશે તો તમારા મિત્ર સાથે મોકલવું. અહીં સૌની તબીયત હમણાં નરમગરમ રહ્યા કરે છે. ચિંતા કરશો નહિ. બીજું, આપણી ગાય અઠવાડિયા પહેલાં... પાંચ દિવસની બિમારી ભોગવી મરી ગઈ છે. ત્યાં તમણી... તબિયત સારી હશે. પત્ર અવારનવાર લખતા રહેશો.... ત્યાંના નવીન સમાચાર જણાવતા રહેજો. અહીંથી સૌએ... તમને યાદી ભણાવી છે...

Dear Brother Batuk,

Greetings. Received your A/L (Air Letter) dated 23/10 today... reading it brought great satisfaction and peace. Also received the letters dated 12/10. Regarding the news about our health... I realized my mistake after posting the letter to you that it gave you cause for worry. You are so far away, and naturally, the greater the distance, the more mutual pain and anxiety exist. I will keep in mind to exercise discretion so as to avoid giving you reason to worry about our health.

As for health, you should not worry about ours. We are considered to be of advanced age now. At this age, people inevitably experience minor ailments, and as the body wears down, health fluctuates—so you should not worry about it. Here, whenever such things happen to us, we recover soon enough. We can walk and move around. You have family and your own place there, so you should not keep any burden on your mind. Remain fully engrossed in your work. Maintain your health properly. Keep sending regular updates about your health—it provides a tone-up to our own health.

Everyone here is well. Jadu's health is good; letters with happy news keep arriving from there as well. Everyone met over there. Big Brother arrived last night and returned to Rajkot early this morning. A meeting is scheduled in Rajkot with the zonal director of Ferkauf/Fichet, which Big Brother has to attend. Ranubhai has procured a Hasdo/Agri tractor and installed it. Sales as well as inquiries are good for it, so Charanbhai is also keeping an eye on it. Bapu also went there, delivered the tractor, and completed the installation.

Secondly, regarding obtaining your share of money from the government, L.C. took a fortnight—which could have been obtained a week earlier—however, for their date 1/11...

Attention is also being given to providing... program was arranged to visit Bhavnagar, Palitana, Gadhada, Sihor, Gondal, Nagpur, Junagadh, Sasan (to see the lions of Gir), and Keshod. After approaching the government and returning there, everyone got busy with hospitality preparations, so no other work could get done. In obtaining funds for the wedding work, there will be a further delay of a week.

Regarding providing another scooter/bike, please read: Congress Secretary Sr. Laxman Patel has old + new, but he disappeared... after returning from the planned Rally on 7/11, Mr. Pandya, the Pilot MLA, will present himself here. But having funds on hand will create a good impression for your Apna Bhavan 32.

The draft to be given to your father-in-law Mr. Gupta's father was handed over and dispatched. The post for registration will go. In Punjab, Ambassador/Elchi... ruined in Puram. My brother went to the registered installation center to buy cement, and a query was made from Mr. Gupta's father's office regarding arrangements. After reviewing their response, provide instructions...

Regarding coming to Mumbai, once the loan funds are released within a fortnight, either directly or through Mumbai Am. Exp., Avinash will provide you 500 dollars. Around the end of 22nd November, regarding expenses over there, do not feel distressed from here. You do not need to take up any service/job for this. First complete your studies, then at leisure toward the end of a long year, whatever entrepreneur opportunities arise can be enjoyed. Thirdly, do not worry. For this month, arrangements can be managed through your friend over there, so do not get anxious. Abundant blessings.

Batukbhai, delighted to receive your letter today. Your earlier letters were also received and sent to Calcutta. Furthermore, Manjuben and Mr. Hasubhai came here last Tuesday. Manjuben returned to Gondal yesterday. Today a letter arrived from Respected Sister in Calcutta; they must have written to you from there. It was very good that you dispatched the Gandhi photos. Your studies must be progressing well; we all wish you success in every examination. A Diwali card will be sent from here after a week.

Learned that your friend Ramesh Mehta is coming there. If you want to request anything from here, write immediately so we can keep it ready. If decided, Hasmukhrai might also depart to come there in about a month. Written to Champaben regarding a sweater for you; if it gets ready within a month, it will be sent with your friend.

Everyone's health here remains somewhat delicate lately, but do not worry. Also, our cow passed away a week ago after suffering from illness for five days. Hope your health is good over there. Keep writing letters frequently and share new updates from there. Everyone here sends their regards to you...
