ઘણા જ આનંદ થયો
અને સૌ કુશળ છે.
સૌની તબીયત સારી છે. રાજકોટ
બાપા, ગોંડલ જુનાગઢ મુંબઈ સૌ પહોંચ્યા છે.

થી માણેકજી વાડી પાસે રવાના
થશે. થવામાં આનંદ એ પધ્યા
ડિ રાજી થશે. ચિ.
ભા. જગદીશ મુંબઈ 2nd year Commerce માં છે. ચિ.
રજનીભાઈ નું મુંબઈથી અવારનવાર
પત્રો આવે છે. તને
ફરી પત્યા દો કરે છે.
બીજું તારી તબીયત સારી
રાખી ને રાત વજન
વધારામાં ને ફિકર રાખજે.
તે બરાબર તારા જર્મન સાથીદારો
નવા વર્ષનાં અભિનંદન પત્રિકા તેમજ સોંપાનો. અમારા
વતી આભાર પાવજે. ભાભી
ભાઈ ચિ. મ નાનો
ગોઈયા પત્ર હતો તને
ખૂબ યાદ કરે છે.
હું Weekly નું લવાજમ ભર્યું
નથી. ઇન્ડિયા થી મેં લખી
નાખી મોટા ભાઈનો કંપની
ધંધામાં સમયનું ખૂટી ગયું. પરંતુ
મારો પણ સપાદસર પાસેથી
અને લખાણ પત્રિકા મુંબઈથી
રાખેલું. બીજું ત્યાં આગળ નવા વર્ષની
તૈયારી એટલી રાખીનું. તારો
અભ્યાસ નં ૧૪ રાતી
ઉચ્ચ ગ્રીનો અહેવાલ તારા સેલ્સમેન નંબર્સ
અમેરિકામાં પ્રમુખપદ અને ઉપપ્રમુખપદની ચુંટણી
નો અહેવાલ અને મધ્ય પૂર્વમાં
તંગ બની ગયેલી લડાયક
પરિસ્થિતિ નો અહેવાલ અને
તેનો ઉકેલ ત્યાંનાં પત્યાઘાતો
ક્યારે સમાચાર મળ્યા. અને પસાએ નિયાણી
શરૂ છે. ઘામે શુદ્ધિની
જગ્યા છે. તે સબબ
તો પડતી નથી. પરંતુ
હવે અઠવાડિયા પખવાડિયામાં થઈ જશે - ત્યાં
આગળ તારી તબીયત ને
બરાબર રાખજે. ચિ. સૌ. ભાભી
પંજુ બહેન આવ્યા છે
અમે રહી ગઈ - ગઈ
તી. પાછા ગોંડલ ગયા
પણ હવે થોડા વર્ષ
પછી રાજકોટમાં રહેવાનું દેશ ... નાના બાળકે પહોંચ્યા
છે - ચિ. ભા. દિનેશનું
દિવાળી
વેકેશન તા. ૨૦/૧૧
નાં પૂરું થાય છે એટલે
આવતી કાલે તે પણ
રાજકોટ જશે. વાડી કે
વિગત માં સારું ચાપાસાયા
વાડી ઉપર મુકેલ મોટર
4 H.P. ને તમે લાગવાથી તેના
આશયમાં તે ચાલુ થઈ.
બરાબર ચાલુ પત્યા ના
રાત ને તકલીફ ઊભી
થઈ તથા ચાલુ બરાબર
ઉતરી નહીં. અને એન્જીન ને
સ્ટેપ + પાર્ટ નો આશ્રય ને
રીવાઇન્ડીંગ માટે રાજકોટ મોકલવાને
આઈડિયા થઈ ને આવ્યા.
જમણા અઠવાડિયા લાગી રહેશે વાડીયા
સિવાય ઘઉં નો પાક
પણ લઈ શકાશેની યાદી
આપી. ખાસ સુધારો - કે
બગાડો કેમ પરંતુ વિરો
સરો નથી વાંચ્યા સમયનું
તેમજ સાંજ પછી બહાર
નીકળવાનું કામ મર્યાદિત થી
રાખવું પડતું છે આંચ કોઈ
દુકાળો + બીજી કોઈ તકલીફ
નથી - પરંતુ જો સ્થિતિ અને
દ્રષ્ટી અનધારે છે. તેવા પદ
કોઈ બગાડો + દ્રષ્ટી સાધી ન થાય
તો પ્રભુનો પરમ ઉપકાર જાણી
તો ભાગ્યમાં જે ભોગવવાનું અને
સહન કરવાનું નિર્માયું હશે તે મિથ્યા
થિ શકે. બાકી ચિંતા
ફિકર નહીં. આનંદમાં અને હાહેરમાં ખૂબ
તંદુરસ્ત રહો. અને ત્યાંનું
ભોજન પૂરું થયે અને પહેલાસર
આવી પહોંચો એટલે પ્રભુ ન્યાયી
છે એમ અને આનંદ
પત્ર નિયમીત લખતા ચૂકવું નહીં
અમે મરણ બીજા પાસે
કાંઈ નથી - નવા મુંબઈ રેલ્વેની
તા. ૧/૧૧ એ
રચના થઈ ગઈ છે.

આનંદ. તમે સૌએ સાથે

વર્ષની શરૂઆત થઈ છે. શુક્રવાર
તો દિવાળી હતી. તમારા બધા
ફોટા (ત્યાંથી આવેલા) એક ફ્રેમમાં મઢી
દીધા છે અને રૂમમાં
લટકાવી દીધો છે જે
જોઈને તમને તથા તમારા
મિત્રો
અને
તમારા ઘરને હંમેશા અનેક
વાર જોઈએ છીએ એવા
તમારા ત્યાંના ફોટા જરૂર મોકલજો.
અહીંના નવીન માં અહીંનું
બાલ-મંદિરનું કામકાજ પૂરું થઈ ગયું છે
અને હવે થોડા દિવસોમાં
કોઈ ગણી વ્યક્તિના હસ્તે
ઉદ્ધાટનવિધિ પણ થશે. તમારું
વજન ત્યાં ગયા પછી સારું
વધ્યું કહેવાય એ પરથી લાગે
છે કે તમે અહીં
કોઈપણ દિવસે આવશો ત્યારે ઘણું
જ વધી જશે. દિનેશ
સાથે રાજકોટ જાય છે. ત્યાંના
નવીન સમાચાર જણાવતા રહેજો જેથી અમને પણ
ત્યાંની કાંઈપણ જેવી વિગતો જાણવા

સાથે આપણા અમુક ગ્રાહકો

Impressive ન લાગ્યું. તેમ છતાં આપણે
ચેતતા રહેવું પડશે. Ferguson વાળા Mr. Bher તથા Coady ગયા શનિ હજી
દિવસ પહેલાં અહીની મુલાકાત લઈ ગયા. આખું
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ટૂંક મુદતમાં જ
હવે આપણને મળી જશે - તારી
તબીયત સંભાળજે. અહીં સૌ કુશળ

Dear Brother Batuk,
Father received your letter No. 34 dated 11-11 three days ago. We were overjoyed, and everyone here is doing well. Everyone is in good health. From Rajkot, Bapa, Gondal, Junagadh, and Mumbai—everyone has arrived safely. In Junagadh: Respected Uncle, Mani, Dear Sister-in-law Damayanti, and Dear Nitin. On Date 27/11, they will depart from Junagadh to stay near Manekji Wadi. It brings joy to know they will be pleased upon arrival. Dear Brother Jagdish is in Mumbai studying 2nd year Commerce. Letters arrive frequently from Dear Rajnibhai in Mumbai; he remembers you again.
Additionally, keep yourself in good health and focus on gaining weight without worrying. Pass along our thanks on our behalf to your German colleagues for the New Year greeting cards and booklets. Sister-in-law, Brother, and Dear Little Goiya wrote a letter and remember you dearly. I haven't paid the subscription for the Weekly; I wrote from India, but Big Brother's time got spent in company business. However, my subscription and writing material were maintained from Mumbai.
Furthermore, keep up your preparations for the New Year there. We received news of your studies, the high-grade report No. 14, your salesman figures, news of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential elections in America, as well as the report on the tense military situation in the Middle East and its resolution along with local reactions. Rain has started falling in places, and purity work is ongoing. There is no major hardship because of it, but things should clear up within a week or fortnight. Keep your health well over there.
Dear Sister-in-law Panju Bahen arrived and stayed with us, then returned to Gondal; but after a few years, her residence will be in Rajkot... The little children have arrived. Dear Brother Dinesh's Diwali vacation ends on Date 20/11, so he too will leave for Rajkot tomorrow.
Regarding details of the farm (Wadi): The 4 H.P. motor installed at the farm started operating as intended after being fitted. After running properly for a bit, trouble arose at night and it didn't run smoothly. A decision was made to send the engine's step parts and rewinding work to Rajkot, which has been done; it will take about a week. Apart from the farm, a list was made indicating that a wheat crop can also be harvested.
There is no major improvement or deterioration as such, but time for reading isn't easily available, and going outside after evening has to be limited. There are no droughts or other troubles today; however, the situation and outlook remain unpredictable. If no damage occurs and the outlook stays smooth, we consider it God's supreme grace; whatever is destined in fate to be experienced and endured cannot be rendered false. Otherwise, do not worry. Stay joyful and very healthy in public/social life. Once your meals/stay there are complete, return properly on schedule—God is just. Do not fail to write joyful letters regularly; there is nothing else in mortal hands. The new Bombay State was formed on Date 1/11. Everyone on our side is well.

Bakulbhai, Greetings. Received the letter, delighted to read it. The very day you all celebrated the New Year together is when the New Year truly began. Friday was Diwali. We mounted all your photos (that arrived from there) in a single frame and hung it in the room; looking at it, we constantly see you, your friends, and your home over there time and again. Please do send more photos from there.
As for news here, the work on the local Bal-Mandir (kindergarten) is completed, and in a few days, the inauguration ceremony will be performed by a prominent personality. Your weight is said to have increased well after going there; judging by that, it seems whenever you come back here, it will have increased significantly. Dinesh is going to Rajkot today. Keep sharing recent news from there so we too can learn every small detail about that place.

All of us read all your letters with great joy. Many of our work tasks remain pending, which is why I haven't been able to write letters. However, news from here keeps reaching you through Respected Bapuji, Bapu, and others.
Recently, Voltas Ltd. has started competition against us with the International D 217 tractor—17 H.P., German make. We all personally watched their demonstration. Certain customers of ours were also present with us, but nobody found it impressive. Nevertheless, we will have to stay cautious. Ferguson representatives Mr. Bher and Coady visited here last Saturday just a day ago. The whole of Saurashtra will come to us in a short span of time. Take care of your health. Everyone here is doing well.
