ની તથા માસી તબીયત
સારી છે. આ સીઝનમાં
ખાસ નબળાઈ પડી નથી. હજી
શિયાળાની સખત ઠંડી પડી
નથી હવે પડશે. રાજકોટ
સૌ કુશળ છે. જનકભાઈયા
ભાઈ ગોપાલ સાથે, તેમજ ભાનુનું અત્રે
દિનેશ સૌ પનપાં છે.

મહીનામાં સૌ. બહેન મંજુ
બહેન ને રાજકોટ તેડાવી
લીધા છે. એટલે હવે
સૌનું આનંદ છે. બીજું
ગાયપાં રઘેરંગ ધમાલ બધાને મજા
પડશે.

ફર્ગ્યુસન ડીલરશીપની સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ભર કે નક્કી
થઈ ગયું છે. સેઝ
ફર્ગ્યુસન વાળા એ. બીજું
આ સેન્ટર ભાવનગર અગર જૂનાગઢ ખોલવાનો
આગ્રહ રાખ્યો છે. તેમ બીજું
સેન્ટર ભાવનગર ખોલવાનું વિચાર્યું છે એટલે ભાવનગર
જઈને જગ્યા વગેરે નું નક્કી થયા
પછી - ચિ. અનુભાઈ ને
ત્યાં મુકવા વિચાર રાખ્યો છે. તે સત્વરે
જાણવા સરખું છે બીજું. તારી
ફાઈનલ પરિણામ વર્ષવાસીય થશે તો અત્રે
ચહેદરાનમાં તે માટેની તૈયારી
કરવાની રહેશે. કોઈ અને બાકી
કુશળ તબીયતનાં ખબર લખશો. લિ.

તમારો
તા,૫મીનો લખેલ પત્ર રાજકોટ
થઈ અહીં આવ્યો વાંચી
આનંદ. તમારા લખવા મુજબ નાનુભાઈ
હમણાં બહુજ કામમાં રહેતા
હોય એવું લાગે છે.
કલકત્તાથી આવ્યા પછીનો ઘણા દિવસો સુધી
બહારગામ જવાનું ચાલુ રહ્યું હતું.
હમણાં ક્યાં છે એ ખબર
નથી. હમણાં તો Business પણ સારું ચાલતું
હોય એમ ક્યારેક મોટાભાઈનાં
પત્ર પરથી લાગે છે.
હવે તો આખું સૌરાષ્ટ્ર
હાથમાં આવશે એટલે તો
કામકાજ વધશે જ.

દિવાળી બાદ એક આંટો
અહીં આવી ગયા. જૂનાગઢ
સૌને મળવા જવું હતું
એટલે આવેલા. જાતયા મંજુબહેન જૂનાગઢ ગયેલા. કલકત્તા વાસીઓ આનંદમાં છે. હમણાં તો
ચંદાબહેન પુ. બહેન ને
ઘેર છે એમ ૨-૩ દિવસ પહેલાંના
એ લોકોનાં પત્રમાં હતું. પુ. બહેન કદાચ
૫૦૨૬૧ આ વેકેશનમાં અહીં
આવવા ધારે છે. તમારો
ચંદાબહેન પર લખેલો પત્ર
અહીં વાંચવા માટે આવ્યો છે.
'India Evening' નો કાર્યક્રમ કેવો ઉજવાયો એ
લખજો. તમે અથવા તો
કોઈ ગુજરાતી-
હિન્દી
ભાઈઓએ ગીતો ગાયા હશે
એમ માનું છું. ત્યાં કોઈ
હિન્દી વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ છે કે નહિ?
હમણાં તો પ્રી નેહરુ
વોશિંગ્ટનમાં આવેલા છે જોકે તમને
સૌને તો જોવાનો chance નહિ
જ મળે.
તમારા
રૂમ-પાર્ટનરને પીયનો સરસ વગાડતા આવડે
છે તો તમે પણ
જરૂર કોઈ ફુરસદનાં ટાઈમમાં
તેમની પાસેથી વગાડતા શીખી લેજો.
આજથી
તમારું X-mas Vacation શરૂ થઈ ગયું
હશે. આ પત્ર મળશે
ત્યારે તો તમે તમારા
માઇનીંગ મિત્ર સાથે ફરીને પાછા
પણ આવી ગયા હશો.
ક્યાં ફરી આવ્યા એ
લખજો. આવતી final exam પછી તમારો કેટલા
વર્ષનો કોર્સ બાકી રહેશે? અહીં
પણ શિયાળો ચાલુ હોવાથી દિવસો
ઘણા ટૂંકા લાગે છે. બહુ
જ ઠંડી નથી.
ભાવનગરવાળાનાં
હમણાં કંઈ અહીં ખબર
નથી. એ લોકોની અવરજવર
રાજકોટ તરફ ક્યારેક હોય
છે. અહીં બહેનને ઘેર
તથા અત્યમંદત્યાઇને ઘેર સૌ આનંદમાં
છે અને તમને યાદ
કરે છે. મધુ હમણાં
રાજકોટ કરવા ગઈ છે.
એનાં લગ્ન કદાચ આવતી
દિવાળી બાદ કલકત્તા જ
થશે એમ બહેનનાં કાગળમાં
હતું. ત્યાંનાં નવીન સમાચાર જણાવતા
રહેજો.

Dear Brother Bakul,
Greetings. Your latest letter written back-to-back to Sister on the 13th was received; noted the details, and the news is very good.
Your Father's (Bapubhai's) and Aunt's (Masi's) health is good. There hasn't been any particular weakness during this season. Severe winter cold hasn't set in yet; it will now. Everyone in Rajkot is doing well. Janakbhai is here along with Brother Gopal, and Bhanu and Dinesh are all together here. Respected Sister Manjubahen was called to Rajkot to stay at Rashtriya Bhavan for a month, so everyone is joyful now. The household is filled with lively cheer and everyone will enjoy it.
Secondly, the Ferguson dealership across Saurashtra has been finalized. Those at Ferguson insisted on opening another center in Bhavnagar or Junagadh. So, it has been decided to open the second center in Bhavnagar. Once the location etc. are finalized after visiting Bhavnagar, it is intended to place Dear Anubhai there; this is worth noting promptly.
Secondly, if your final examination occurs mid-year, preparations will need to be made here in Chhedaran accordingly. Everything else is fine; keep writing updates about your health.

Bakulbhai,
Received your letter written on the 5th via Rajkot and was delighted to read it. As per your letter, Nanubhai seems to be extremely busy these days. After returning from Calcutta, he continued traveling out of town for many days; I don't know where he is currently. Business also seems to be going well right now, as appears occasionally from Elder Brother's letters. Now that all of Saurashtra comes under us, work will naturally increase.
Manjubahen came by for a short visit after Diwali. She had come because she wanted to meet everyone in Junagadh. Sister Manjubahen has gone to Junagadh. The Calcutta residents are doing well; a letter received 2-3 days ago mentioned that Sister Chanda is currently at Respected Sister's house. Respected Sister might be planning to come here during this vacation.
Your letter written to Sister Chanda was forwarded here for us to read. Do write about how the 'India Evening' program was celebrated. I assume you or some Gujarati/Hindi brothers sang songs. Are there any Indian female students there or not? Prime Minister Nehru has arrived in Washington recently, though all of you likely won't get a chance to see him.
Since your roommate knows how to play the piano so well, make sure to learn playing from him in your free time.
Your Xmas Vacation must have started from today. By the time you receive this letter, you might have already returned from traveling with your mining friend; write where you went. After your upcoming final exam, how many years of your course will remain? Since winter is ongoing here too, days feel very short, though it is not extremely cold.
There is no recent news from those in Bhavnagar here. Their visits are occasionally toward Rajkot. Everyone at Sister's house and at Atagmandtai's house here is doing well and remembers you. Madhu has currently gone to Rajkot for a trip. Sister's letter mentioned that her marriage will likely take place in Calcutta after next Diwali. Keep sharing new updates from over there.
