વડિયા. તા. ૫-૨-૫૮ પ્રિ. ભાઈ ચતુર, લિ. આના નમસ્તે તા- ૨/૨ નો પત્ર મળ્યો વાંચી વિગત જાણી. તમારી તબીયત સારી હોવાના ખબર જાણીને આનંદ થયો. અત્રે ઘર/દુકાન સમાચાર છે મારી તેમજ તમારા ભાભી ની તબીયત સારી છે ચિંતા કરશો નહીં. Electric Health રોજ પાર્સલથી રાજકોટ મોકલાવ્યા ને બદલે અનેક સીધું પત્રિકા આડું હોત તો પણ તુરત મળી જાત. ખેર – રાજકોટથી આજી જશે.

શ્રી છતુભાઈએ તમને શ્રી. ચી. ચી. પટેલના ભાઈ શ્રી ચુનીલાલ સી. પટેલ ની B.A. અને ઇંગ્લેન્ડ જઈ આવેલ પુત્રીના સગપણ માટે તમને જોવા માટે લેશે. તથા એમના પુત્ર હર્ષદના ભલેલા સાથે મુલાકાત શિવાય આપી તે જાણ્યું. શ્રી છતુભાઈ તરફથી આ બાબતમાં કોઈ પત્ર મળ્યો નથી. આમાં કુળમાં આવવા જોઈએ. આ કન્યાને કોઈ તમે સગપણ નથી હોય એટલે શ્રી છતુભાઈના પત્રમાં આ કન્યાના credentials શું સોપાઈ ને આપે છે તે જાણ્યા પછી આ બાબતમાં આગળ વધવાનું રહે. પરંતુ પત્ર શ્રી છતુભાઈએ વેરાવળ વાળા શ્રી જયંતિલાલ ડાહ્યાભાઇ શાહની કન્યા ઉર્મિલા પાસે ભલામણ સબબ હતી પરંતુ એમને જે ટિફિનર આર્ડર આપો વિગત છે તે (+) તરફ જે વાકેફ કરી આપશે હશે તો લો. ધા. ૯.૯ પટેલની કન્યાના પાસ લખી જણાવશો. હવે જોઈએ શું ખબર આવે છે.

રા. રા. શ્રી જયંતિલાલને આપજો જે ટિફિનર આર્ડર મૂકી છે તે બાબતમાં તેણે ટૂંકમાં ખુલાસો કર્યો કે પાસ વડીલો (parents) + મિત્રો અમદાવાદ પાંભા... (આપણા અરવિંદભાઈના પિતા) સાથે રહે છે.

તેમનામાં લખી ને સંપર્ક મેળવ્યા પછી રાજકોટમાં રહેતા આપણા ભાઈ શ્રી રમણભાઈ ચિ. લા. વિરેન્દ્રને જોવા આવજો. અને ત્યાર બાદ તેવા સરું ઘરમાં બધાં સરખું થશે. તો કન્યા જોવા આપવા માટે officially ફોટો પાઠવશે. અમદાવાદ પછી જ આપણે કન્યા જોવા માટેની રાષ્ટ્રીય આટલું પત્રમાં ૧૫/૨૦ દિવસના નીચી જશે.

બીજું તમારા માટે કોઈ દ્રષ્ટિએ અનુકૂળ થાય એવો બે કન્યાઓ મારા ધ્યાનમાં આઈ છે પરંતુ તે કુટુંબોને હિસાબ તમારા જોડેથી ધો ક્યાંય નથી મળ્યો એમ અમે ધારીએ છું. એટલે તે કુટુંબોમાં indirectly વાત પહોંચાડવા માટે લાયકાત લંગતા સાથે વાત કરી રાખેલ છે. હવે જોઈએ તેનું શું પરિણામ આવશે. જો મોટાનું ધ્યાન ખેંચાશે અને પૂછપરછ થશે તો સવિસ્તર વિગત તમને લખી જણાવાશે. બંને કન્યાઓ ગ્રેજ્યુએટ થયેલી છે. અને વંશ જ બધી સારી છે.

બીજું તમે ચાટુંગામાં સ્વતંત્ર રૂપે રાખી સેવાનો વિચાર રાખ્યો તે બરાબર છે. આપણા વાળા રૂપિયા તમને સ્પેયરમાં ફેરવીને લેવા હોય તો આપી તો પણ, બંનેમાં થોડી ઘણી અગવડતાતા થાય~ અને સાટુંગામાં તમને સ્વતંત્ર રૂપ મળી જાય તો ચિ. લા. ભાઈ રાને પણ સાથે રાખી શકે. એટલે એની તબિયત દૂર થાય. અને સયાને પણ ફેરવાનું ન પડે એટલે તટસ્થ અંશ વહેલું ગોઠવી જાય.

બીજું એમનામાં જુનિયા મોટાભાઈ કે મુંબઈ આવવાનું નથી થાય પરંતુ તમે બદલીમાં હોય, ચિ. ના. નાનું જે આપવાનું થશે તો તમને લખી ગુમાવશે લિ. શો. ચંદા બહેનનું બીજું તારણ. સરનામું આ પ્રમાણે છે તે નોંધી રાખશો અને ફુરસદે એને પત્ર લખી નાખશો.

Dear Brother Chatur,

Greetings. Received your letter dated 2/2 and noted the contents. Delighted to learn that your health is good. News regarding home and shop here is good; my health as well as your sister-in-law's health is good, so do not worry.

Instead of sending the Electric Health parcel daily to Rajkot, if a direct circular/note had been sent, it would have reached immediately as well. Anyway—it will reach Aji from Rajkot.

Noted that Shri Chhatubhai will take you to view the B.A. and England-returned daughter of Shri C. C. Patel (brother of Shri C. C. Patel) for a marriage proposal, and that an interview/meeting was arranged with his educated son Harshad. No letter has been received from Shri Chhatubhai regarding this matter. We need to consider family lineage. Since there is no prior match/proposal for this girl, we will proceed in this matter only after learning what credentials Shri Chhatubhai's letter provides for her.

However, Shri Chhatubhai had written a letter of recommendation regarding Urmila, daughter of Shri Jayantilal Dahyabhai Shah of Veraval. Whichever details they provide regarding the tiffin order (+), please inform us. Write and let us know about C. C. Patel's daughter. Now let's see what news arrives.

Regarding the tiffin order placed with Shri Jayantilal, he briefly clarified that his parents + friends reside in Ahmedabad... (along with our Arvindbhai's father).

After contacting them in writing, come to Rajkot to see our brother Shri Ramanbhai and Dear Virendra. Following that, if everything aligns in the house, they will officially send a photograph for viewing the bride. Only after Ahmedabad will our decision on seeing the bride take about 15 to 20 days.

Secondly, two eligible girls have come to my attention who might be suitable for you in every respect, but we assume no contact has been made with those families from your end yet. Therefore, to pass word indirectly to those families, discussions have been initiated through qualified acquaintances. Now let's see what comes of it. If it draws the attention of the elders and inquiries are made, detailed information will be written and shared with you. Both girls are graduates and come from good family lineages.

Secondly, your thought of maintaining an independent setup/residence in Matunga is appropriate. If you wish to convert our money into spare funds, we can provide it, though there might be minor inconveniences in both options. Having an independent place in Matunga would also allow you to keep Dear Brother Rane with you, which would relieve his health issues and avoid frequent moving, helping settle things smoothly and early.

Additionally, elder brother (Juniya Motabhai) does not need to come to Mumbai, but if anything is to be given to Dear Nanu during his transfer, it will be written to you.
