થોડા
દિવસ અગાઉ અમેરિકાના Sea coastal region માં Tornado કે વાવાઝોડાના અને
હોનારતના ખબર અમે Times માં
વાંચેલા. ત્યારે સેન્ટર તારી ચિંતા થતી
હતી. આવી એક વખતની
હોનારત માં ચિ. ભાનુભાઈ
સપડાયેલો. પરંતુ પ્રભુ કૃપાએ તે બચી ગયેલો.
આથી જાગૃતિ થઈ આવે તે
સ્વાભાવિક છે. અને આવા
Tornado નાં કેવા દ્રશ્યો અને
ધડાકા થયા તેનો તને
પણ આ વખતે થોડો
પરિચય થયો. મતલબ કે
દર વખતે તોફાનની ચોરીમાં
ક્યાંક આવું થાય એટલે
તે સમયે બરાબર સાવચેતી
અને સંભાળ રાખવી જોઈએ. બાકી તો પ્રભુકૃપા
અને અનુકૂળતા સૌની રક્ષા કરે
છે.
તે
અંકે મેઇલ માં લખેલું
કે નક્કી $ 33.૫૦ ની ફી
ભરી આપી તે જાણ્યું.

ઇન્ડિયન એમ્બેસી પાંહેથી ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ આપવા આવવા માટેનો
પત્ર નથી મળ્યો અને
તેઓ જવાબ ન લખી
નાખ્યા તે જાણ્યું. તું
ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ ત્યાં આપી આવ. પરંતુ
કમીટમેન્ટ રહેવું નહીં. અમને થયું કે
તારી M.S. ની ડીગ્રી મળ્યા
પછી તારી પ્રેક્ટીકલ ટ્રેઈનીંગ
માટે અભ્યાસ પૂરો થયા પછી
અને ડીગ્રી મળ્યા પછી એકાદ બે
વર્ષ સુધી અનુભવ લેવાની
ઈચ્છા છે, એટલે તું
ગવર્મેન્ટ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયાની સર્વિસમાં
જોઈન થઈ શકું નહીં.
પરંતુ મારા પ્રેક્ટીકલ ટ્રેઇનીંગના
સમય દરમ્યાન ગવર્મેન્ટ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયાના Ministry of Iron & Steel ની સાથે પત્ર
દ્વારા સંપર્કમાં રહીશ. અને તે...
વખતે
terms acceptable હશે તો મારા દેશની
સેવા દિશામાં હું જરૂર ફાળો
આપીશ. આથી ચીજ જેથી
તેઓને સંતોષ થાય તેવી રીતે
ખુલાસો થાય તેવો જવાબ
આપવો. તારું નું મારે ન્યાય
પ્રશ્ન અને બને વખત
તો તારો ભાઈ સુખલાલ
ન મળતા આવત. અને
હવે તને કેટલો વખત
ત્યાં રહેવાનું થશે? ક્યારે ઇન્ડિયા
પાછા ફરવાની ઈચ્છા રાખે છે? વગેરે
જાણી લઈ તે મુજબ...

તારે તારી શોભનાની તબિયત
વિષે સહારી રૂપ ક્યાય સેવા
માટે તારે ત્યાં આગળ
તે ખાતર વધારે રોકાવવા
જરૂર નથી. અચિંતા તારે
રોકવાની ચીજ પણ જે
આપણી તબીયત હોય અત્યારે તબીયત
સારી છે જ્યાં સુધી
તને લોઢાની કંપની માં અનુભવ ન
મળે ત્યાં સુધી. તારો અભ્યાસ પૂરો
થયા બાદ છ બાર
મહીના તું ત્યાં રોકાઈશ
- અત્યાર સુધી જેવો હતો
અને રહ્યા છો તેવી રીતે
રહીને રોકાવા માંગતા હઈશ તો ત્યાં
સુધી ખુશીથી રોકાવા માટે મને મંજૂરી
આપીશું. અને તરફથી તારી
એન્ટ્રીની આવશ્યકતા તો અત્યારથી ઉભી
થઈ ગઈ છે. પરંતુ
તે ખાતર જલ્દી આવ્યા
રહેવા માટે ઉતાવળ નહી
કરાવીએ. બીજું અમે ગવર્મેન્ટના પ્રાઇવેટ
કન્સર્નમાં પગારનાં ધોરણ સારા અને
ઉંચા હોય છે. ગવર્મેન્ટમાં
તો સરકારી નિયમ મુજબ Scale પ્રમાણે
gradation મળશે. જ્યારે Private Sector માં માણસને qualification and ability &
Personality ઉપર પગારનો અને ઉપર આવવાનો
આધાર રહે છે. મતલબ
કે અત્યારે interview વખતે કોઈ ટ્રીટમેન્ટ
ન ફાઇનલ કરવું એવો મારો અભિપ્રાય
છે. બીજું અમે તરફથી વરસાદ
પરથી સાંભળ્યું - નવા પાક ઉત્પાદન
પર સરસ નફો થાશે
તેવું જાણવા મળ્યું છે.

કોઈ રેડિયો પ્રોગ્રામ ની ... માહિતી જાણી લાવો અને
જો નક્કી થાય તો ચોક્કસ
પ્રોગ્રામ લેવો. રેડિયો પ્રોગ્રામનો સમય બહુ થોડો
રહેશે એટલે અમે જવાબ
ન આપી શકો એટલે
અત્યાર સુધી કોઈ માહિતી
છોકરીઓ ન્યૂયોર્ક ની હોસ્પિટલમાં ... આપવા
