Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

PROF. MAHENDRA BHATT- 01/01/1954

Mr. Hamendra Parek

Room No 30. Engineering College Hostel.

VALLABH-VIDYANAGAR.

 (વલ્લભ-વિદ્યાનગર) (Via. Anand).

Dear Hamendrabhäi, 1-1-'54. If we repeat the greetings every year I fear they may lose charm. Nor can I find a day of my life more heartening than any other one. Not that I've exhausted the infinitely finite joys — nobody can —. But so many things happen to me and yet appear to be merely foreign. xxxx, Please give this letter to Rameshbhai. I shall no more disturb you for a long time. (Give it to him, only if he is there. Don't redirect.) MaHendra. (P.T.O.

Rameshbhai, unless you reply to my letters, I can never be sure about your address. Fearing that the letter may be lost if you've left Änand, I've not sent a line to you. How long are you there? — M'dra.

If Rameshbhai has left the town, don't redirect the letter. Nor give it to anybody.
