Dear Brother Hemendra,
Received your letter many days ago. In between, I had gone to Junagadh for ten days, and my sister-in-law (Jedani) who accompanied me from there stayed for two days before returning. After that, due to medical check-ups for my health and a bit of laziness, I couldn't reply.
Regarding what you wrote about the small water container (pavali), it was received; just by looking at it from above, one doesn't get a clear idea. It seems a bit small; is it approximately the size of the book we saw that day or not? There is no need to exchange it. Let it stay for household use as well.
Hope your health is good. Everyone here is fine. Wheat and grain have begun to head in the farm/garden. Radish and flat beans (papdi) are being harvested as vegetables. Jhaverba is also staying here. Younger Brother went to Rajkot two days ago...
...Elder Brother has gone to Bhavnagar. So Younger Brother will return after three days. Ranlabhai is driving the tractor. Since it is the groundnut season, work is going along reasonably well.
If you need anything, do ask for it. I am likely to leave from here after eight to ten days. Do write a letter. Regards to everyone at Bhanubahen's place. Send news of your health.
