પ્રિય ભાઈ બટુક,

તુ મુંબઈ પહોંચી ગયા બાદ તારું એક પોસ્ટ કાર્ડ હું રાજકોટ હતો ત્યારે વાંચેલું.

તારી ફેક્ટરી SION ઉપર છે તે જાણ્યું. રહેવાનું હમણાં શાંતિભાઈને ત્યાં રાખેલ છે તે જાણ્યું. તું હવે કામની ધમાલમાં પડી ગયો હશે. બરોબર ફાવી ગયું હશે.

અમારી સૌની તબિયત સારી છે. રમણિકભાઈ મળે તો કહેજે કે તેમના બાએ અહીંની હોસ્પિટલમાં હરસનું ઓપરેશન કરાવ્યું છે અને તબિયત સારી છે. હું ગઈકાલે હોસ્પિટલમાં ગયો હતો.

Dear Brother Batuk,

After you reached Mumbai, I read a postcard from you while I was in Rajkot.

Learned that your factory is located in Sion. Noted that your current residence is arranged at Shantibhai's place. By now, you must have plunged into the bustle of work and settled in well.

All of us here are in good health. If you happen to meet Ramnikbhai, do inform him that his mother underwent a piles operation at the hospital here and her health is good. I visited the hospital yesterday.
