Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,
Hemen Parekh

(G.I.P.) GHATKOPAR

Shri Ramniklal Bhabhutlal Parekh,

P. Se. Ganganiwas,

Tilak Road,

Ghatkopar

(G.I.P.) GHATKOPAR

Manilal came here for a job, but nothing could work out, so he is returning to Ghatkopar. (Perhaps Gaitonde) Bhaychandbhai informed that he would find a good job for him over there. Just that much.

Dear Brother Hemen,

Date: 18th Nov. Tuesday

"Congratulations"—for what? I believe that question hasn't even arisen yet. You didn't write a single letter in these past one and a half months, nor did you give any good news; yet the news reached us anyway.

Your desired wish was fulfilled, and here too the schemes/worries came to an end—it is natural that everyone feels joy about it.

Now, do let us know when you step onto the next rung of progress so that we can celebrate sitting here, because you, Brother, are certainly not going to invite us over.

Then why keep false hopes? Only to be disappointed.

Since there was no setup for your Mumbai plan, and not even knowing that you had gone there, a letter was written to you in Rajkot which you must have received. New Year greetings (Saal Mubarak) were also sent there.

Do write a letter once you settle down.

Dear Ramnikbhai,

Received your letter along with Uncle's letter; it brings joy whenever you write letters this way. Hope everyone is fine; we are doing well. Do write letters. Give love to the children. Ramama came here; met her then.

— Respectful greetings from Manda
