મારૂ માનવું છે કે કંપનીને
જવાબ આપવામાં બહુ ઉતાવળ ન
કરવી. બીજે ક્યાંય ગોઠવાય
નહીં માટે desperate થઈ એગ્રીમેન્ટમાં બંધાઈ
જવા ઉતાવળ ન કરવી. તે
દરમ્યાનમાં તને મુંબઈમાં ક્યાંય
નફો દેખાતી હોય તો પ્રયત્ન
કરવો. અને આઠ પંદર
દિવસમાં એના સંજોગો જોયા
પછી સ્વીકારવી હશે. જો તને
અત્યારથી જ એમ લાગતું
હોય તો પછી વિચારી
લેવું. ભવિષ્યમાં પ્રશ્નો તો માત્ર ડીપોઝીટ
પુરતાં છે. આજે શ્રી
રતિલાલને પત્ર લખું છું.
તો તમને મળી લેશે.
તેમાં જો કોઈ ધ્યાનમાં
વધતાં ઘટતાં પ્રયત્ન કરશો. calico ni deposit ભરવા અગર તો
તારા રહેવા માટે ફીકર ન
કરવી. તે અંહી જરૂર
પણ તેમ કરી આપીશું.
ઈતર માટે જે વિચાર્યું
છે તે બરોબર છે.

ડીપોઝીટનો જ છે. પરંતુ
Goodwill હશે તો ભવિષ્યમાં જરૂર
પડ્યે વહેલા છુટા થવામાં ને
પાછા મેળવી શકીશું. અને તેનાથી આપણી
risk લેવામાં વાંધો નહિ. એવી કોઈ
પ્રસંગ આપવાનો we should be prepared
to forgo that. તેથી મેં શ્રી રતીલાલને
પત્ર લખ્યો છે. તો તમને
મળે તો આપણે રજુ
ચર્ચા કરશો. જેથી એ વિનાના
ધ્યાનમાં કઈં હોય તો
તે પણ કહી શકાય.
માટે વહેલી તકે તેમને મળી
આવજો. રાત્રે ઘરે જ ઠીક
પડશે.

Received your letter, and Bapuji's letter/message has also arrived.
I believe you shouldn't be in a hurry to reply to the company. Just because things aren't getting arranged elsewhere, do not get desperate and hurry into tying yourself down with an agreement. In the meantime, if you see any profitability/prospect in Mumbai anywhere, make an effort. And after observing the circumstances over the next 8–15 days, accept it if you wish. If you feel that way right from now, then think it over. In the future, the issues are only regarding the deposit. I am writing a letter to Shri Ratilal today, so he will meet you. In that, if anyone has thoughts on adjusting up or down, do make an attempt. Do not worry about paying Calico's deposit or about your stay/living arrangements—we will surely arrange for that from here if needed. What has been thought for others/miscellaneous matters is correct.
All of us, along with Tamanna, are preparing for Mr. Birwa to arrive. Everyone here is fine. Pinad has been given recently; when coming to Mumbai next time, he will meet you.
P.S.: There is a letter from Respected Bapuji, and I also had a brief talk with Sister Saheb. Accepting Sister Saheb's offer/position immediately seems to be happening. The question is only regarding the deposit. But if there is Goodwill, then if needed in the future, we can be released early and recover it, so there is no issue in us taking the risk. If any such situation arises, we should be prepared to forgo that. That is why I wrote a letter to Shri Ratilal, so if he meets you, carry out further discussion. That way, if there is anything else in mind without that, it can also be said. Therefore, go meet him at the earliest opportunity; meeting at his home at night would be better.
