ભાઈ બટુક, તારૂં પોસ્ટકાર્ડ આજે મળ્યું. ઉંમર
વગરનું ઘર સૂનકાર ભાસે
છે. કલકત્તા બેન કે ચંદાબેન
નો અહીંથી તાર ગયો તે
જ દિવસે પહોંચેલા. સૌ અત્યારે દુઃખી
છે. કોઈની આંખમાંથી આંસુ સુકાતા નથી.
તું ત્યાં એકલો છે. તારે
હિંમતમાં રહેવાનું છે. એની તો
જીંદગી પૂરી થઈ ગયેલી.
આપણા લાખ ઉપાયો કરવા
છતાં પણ એ રહેવાની
નહોતી. પ્રભુ વ્હાલા માણસને જલ્દી લઈ લે છે.
આપણો તો પ્રાર્થનાં કરીએ
કે ઈશ્વર એના આત્માને પરમ
શાંતિ આપે.
ભાનુબેન
રમણિકલાલ નો કાગળ પણ
મળી ગયો છે. સૌને
એ વહાલી હતી. તમે સૌ
મળી હિંમતમાં રહેજો.
બીજું
તપી સખી રજીસ્ટર પાર્સલથી
મોકલી છે. એકાદ બે
દિવસમાં મળી જશે.
કાગળ
લખતો રહેજે અને એના આત્માને
શાંતિ થાય એમ રહેજે.

Dear Brother Batuk,
Received your postcard today. The house feels completely deserted and empty without her. The telegram sent from here reached Sister in Calcutta and Chandabahen on the very same day.
Everyone is grief-stricken right now. The tears in everyone's eyes simply won't dry. You are all alone over there; you must stay strong and hold up your courage. Her life journey had come to an end—despite all our best efforts, she was not meant to remain with us. Almighty God calls beloved souls to Him quickly. We can only pray that God grants eternal peace to her soul.
Also received the letter from Bhanubahen and Ramaniklal. She was dear to everyone. All of you together must remain brave.
Further, the Tapi Sakhi [book/item] has been dispatched via registered parcel; you should receive it in a day or two.
Keep writing letters and conduct yourself in a way that brings peace to her soul.
