Dear Harendra,
I am very sorry for I could not
answer your letter for a long time. I have passed my terminal examination
fully. Securing about 240/450. Naresh has also passed the examination but I do
not know his total. I read in your letter that your examination was cancelled.
But why?
Did you hear the running
commentary on the first day of the second unofficial test match? How ridiculous
was the score card at lunch. Moreover I understand that you are not interested
in cricket.
How many pictures did you see in
Rajkot? Plenty I suppose. Don't ask about me. It must have gone near thirty to
forty during the last 3 months. I may go to "Haute Asse" or
"Dastan" next week. Did you hear about the ice review in Bombay? It
is enterprising, worth seeing twice.
Last Sunday i.e 26th November the
college had a
trip to Lonavalla. Out of 350
members 200 came to the trip. There wasn't any enjoyment as our personal trip
to Borivali had. How is your progress in study? My remembrance to VIRENDRA.
When are you going to come
BOMBAY? Positively in March or April!
My friends were surprised to see
me stand fifth in our class. I was thought to be the mischievous boy in the
class. You called me a hero but there isn't anybody in the class who would like
to be...
Well for more longer letter next
time.
Yours sincerely,
Jagdish J. Shah
N.B. Please do not write me at my
College address. Do write me at my Jagjiwan
Niwas address.

Would you like me to summarize
the contents of this letter for you?
