Dear Hemendrabhai and Bharti,
Received your telephone call this morning, and I was delighted to learn that you wish to join the Madhya Pradesh tour. Shri Atulbhai Dholakia has been coordinating this tour with the Ahmedabad M.P. Tourism office for about three weeks. The arrangements were finalized just two days before your visit here, based on a custom-made package we designed.
The package covers six days and five nights—from the morning of February 22 in Bhopal to the evening of February 27 in Bhopal—inclusive of transport, lodging, boarding, and sightseeing, at a cost of Rs. 2,500/- per person.
We have booked a 14-seater minibus for this trip. Had we opted for a jeep, accommodating our 12 group members would have caused some inconvenience, so we chose the 14-seater bus, which is a much better option. A lady related to C. Mehta wished to join as a single traveler, so Atulbhai inquired into it and sent a fax, the confirmation for which is expected in a day or two.
Hotel bookings on our end have been confirmed for one night in Bhopal, three nights in Pachmarhi, one night in Jabalpur, two nights in Kanha, and one night in Bhopal. The return train tickets for Bhopal, as well as an internal booking for Bhopal–Jabalpur or similar, will be booked 15 days in advance.
Following your phone call today, I spoke with Atulbhai. He will personally visit the M.P. Tourism office today to check on seat availability. The Ahmedabad office holds hotel booking authorization, while the remaining quotas are managed through Delhi, Mumbai, and Bhopal. Once all inquiries are completed today and we receive their response, we will know the exact status. If seats are available, we will immediately pay the amount on your behalf; since there is still time, it should get done. I will also visit them personally tomorrow. (Nothing could be processed today as the officer was absent, but Atulbhai is going anyway.)
We hope Shrimati Ranjanben's health is fine; we were a bit concerned about her. If possible, we will call you tonight. Our respectful regards to Ranjan, and appropriate regards to everyone.
Yours,
Regards from Nikhil
