Keep this in mind. I have written all this to you so that if it is available there, you can be allowed to come here. I also liked that you spoke truthfully regarding money. Keep in mind that even if you come, under these Immigration laws they might not allow you, so keep the courage to write off 15,000 rupees. And if you were in the village, you will definitely let me do the work. In the current situation, there is nothing to worry about. I am thinking that the telegram for University admission might not have arrived yet. Compared to coming all the way here from New York, the airport advantages and train advantages are better. But plan to come by bus; purchase the bus ticket from the Thomas Cook office so that you don’t have to pay tax. It will also be available from American Express; they might not give a ticket directly, but will give something in return using which you can buy a ticket here. If you buy the ticket after arriving here, you will have to pay tax. Buying a ticket is best, as the journey finishes quickly and easily.
Joining in February is fine time-wise, but joining brings difficulties such that course selection cannot be done in proper sequence. It would be like a novel in two parts where you have to read the first part first. If you do well in the subjects this term, you will get a scholarship in the second term. Out of four subjects, you must get at least three A's to get a scholarship. If you study sincerely, it is not difficult. I didn't receive the budget. The work can be managed, but then studying won't be enjoyable. I definitely have to show a budget. Monthly $70: $30 to be earned + $40 from home. But even if maybe 60–80 is fixed, if you go to consider with permission where it was spent, you won't be able to trace it—food and drink. Then your situation is different, but if you work and set your mind to it, you can finish through straight means too. But don't think while awake/restless. Let money be sent for verification after completing studies. In the future, perhaps formal procedures won't need to be done.
Gainful Employment means you cannot put studies aside and just keep earning. Even in studies, a minimum number of subjects must be taken. After obtaining the degree, it's a different matter. The Chem. Eng. school here is very universally recognized. But the decision on polishing—Texas's is still to be taken. Shoes shouldn't be just any type; buy watertight ones that don't leak, otherwise there is trouble in the snow. Among required items/documents, keep headpins, overcoat, tie buckles, factory photos, etc. near the border.
The trick of explaining the forms came late. I have written "Alagia" at the bottom. But you take leave and finish it up. Don't wait for calculations. I don't have to do only this at the university. What do you want to do instead of it reaching there in a month and a half or two? Whether I or in community development, seeing a path, something new has happened. New finished leather items are very expensive here, so we should buy leather equipment/accessories. Suggest this to the neighbors. Don't forget overseas equipment/items. Parekhbhai, you might have received my telegram on Sunday, and the admission letter should have arrived by this evening. I assumed that if you didn't receive the admission letter, you would send a telegram; you must have received my letter. Use only this official admission letter to obtain the visa, otherwise there will be trouble. If an admission letter from another university was given, present it only as a last resort and when called for the visa interview. Have the fees canceled/refunded. It is not so simple to settle for Illinois just because you don't want to attend Stanford's admission.
