ખબર પડ્યા કે તમારી તબિયત
સૌધ ખરાબ થઇ ગઇ
છે અને પેટનો સખત
દુખાવો છે. એમના લખ્યા
મુજબ મુંબઇમાં તપાસ કરાવી પછી
ટ્રીટમેન્ટ બદલવાની ખાસ જરૂર છે.
તમે અહિં આવો ચિંતા
થાય કે તકલીફ પડે
એ અણથી લખવામાં સંકોચ
કર્યો તેથી તો અમને
વધારે દુઃખ થયું. બા-બાપુજી ના ગયા પછી
આ પ્રમાણે ભેદભાવ રાખવો એ યોગ્ય નથી
તો અહિં આવવાનું નક્કી
કરી તુરંત જ તાર
થી ખબર આપશો.
અહિં આવ્યા બાદ ડો. ઝાટકિયા
ની સલાહ લઇ જે
કોઇ સ્પેશીયલીસ્ટ ને બતાવવું જરૂરી
લાગે તે તુરંત બતાવી,
દવા ચાલુ કરી દેશું
તો જેટલું જલ્દી અવાય થાય તેટલું
કરજો.
અમારી સૌની તબિયત સારી
છે નિર્મિત-મનીષ ની સ્કુલ
સોમવાર થી ચાલુ થઇ
ગઈ છે. મારે પણ
ફેક્ટરી માં એક માસનો
ટૂંકો હડતાલ ચાલી - હવે ચાલુ છે.

Dear Sister,
Learned from Motabhai's letter that your health has deteriorated quite a bit and you have severe stomach pain. As he wrote, after getting a checkup in Mumbai, there is a strong need to change the treatment. We were even more pained that you hesitated to write about coming here out of concern that it might cause worry or inconvenience. After Ba-Bapuji (mother and father) passed away, keeping such a distance/distinction like this is not right, so please decide to come here and inform us immediately by telegraph. Once you arrive here, we will take Dr. Zatakia's advice and consult whichever specialist feels necessary right away to start the medication, so please manage to come as soon as possible.
All of us here are in good health. Nirmit and Manish's school has reopened since Monday. At my factory as well, there was a short one-month strike—work has resumed now.
