Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

JAGDISH SHAH - 02/11/1951

20 Gokhale Road (N) Bombay 28 2-11-51

Dear Hamendra and Virendra, Received your greeting card day before yesterday. I wish you happy and prosperous New Year (2008), the same from all the friends of Abu. I hope you have faired well in your examination. About me well, you cannot think of it. I did not prepare well. On the exam day Pravin from Annaded drop at the Ruia College and on last Monday he gave a party to all of us. On the New year day we (i.e. Dhiru, Anup and myself) went to our class mate's place. She was surprised to see us. We had been to picnic on Sunday 14th October 1951, by car. My greetings to all the members

of your family. We have decided to go for a trip or tour as we had been to Abu after our annual examination. This time there is a probability that the girls may accompany us. I hope, rather we hope that you will accompany us.

I am very sorry for not writing a letter to you. There is no excuse for it. On 14th of September I wrote a letter to you in the chemistry lecture hall but did not post it.

Hoping you will answer me. Once again I beg an apology for not answering you so soon.

Yours Jagdish J Shah

Would you like me to assist you with anything else regarding these documents?
